The California Association of Realtorsclosely monitors and analyzes trends in the residential real estate industry. The table above contains the latest reported existing home sales series, median home prices, unsold inventory index, median time on market, first-time buyer housing affordability index, and the latest mortgage rates.

410,920 homes sold in California in May 2016 with a median price of $518,760. The median time on the market was 27.3 days with a 3.4 month supply of unsold inventory. Homes sold for an average of $249 per square foot and the sales to list ratio was 99.7%. The affordability index remained steady at 34%.

jazz wednesdays


The Jazz Wednesdays Summer concert series will bring top talent to Laguna Beach again this season beginning June 22 at the Rose Garden of Hotel Laguna. The Rose Garden offers personal service with a menu of tempting food and beverages. Seating at the Rose Garden is limited so early ticket buying is recommended.

The 2016 series kicks off with Homanje, an exciting Afro/Cuban World jazz ensemble. The concerts will continue every two weeks until August 31th with renowned artists Tim Gill and his vintage Jazz group. Special guests include:
