kids fish free


Did you know that kids fish free every Sunday at Dana Wharf?

Also every Sunday from 12:00-12:30pm is a free clinic held dockside. Ask the experts and learn new fishing techniques, new hook tying secrets, win raffle prizes and so much more! No reservations are needed... just show up!

And if that is not enough, there are free fishing trips for kids between 12:45 and 5:15pm. One free child and one free rod rental per full paying adult. Reservations required as space is limited.

So put away all those electronic devises and head down to Dana Wharf for an afternoon of free fun!

laguna craft guild


Looking for a way to spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Visit downtown Laguna Beach and browse the Laguna Craft Guild exhibits. You'll see potters, glass blowers, textile artists, jewelers and much more.

The Laguna Beach Craft Guild is a non-profit organization create in 1978 to give local artists the opprotunity to sell their creations.

The Guild exhibits are available from 9:00-4:00 every other Sunday at Main Beach Cobblestones.

california pending home sales


California Pending Home Sales improved with solid gains in December 2015 compared to the previous year which suggests a modest increase in home sales in the beginning of 2016. On an annual  basis the pending homes sales index increased 8.3%. Compared to November the pending home sales index fell due to seasonal factors.

Throughout California pending sales were higher compared to December 2014 with Central Valley increasing the most. San Francisco Bay Area sales rose 12.4%. Southern California peniding sales were up 2.5%. Central Valley pending sales increased 12.9%.

laguna beach music festival


The 2016 Laguna Beach Music Festival will take place February 10-February 14, 2016.

The Laguna Beach Music Festival is presented by Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and was founded in 2002.

The Festival's commitment to lifelong learning makes possible meet-the-artist events, salons, open rehearsals, and lively discussions, while local schoolchildren encounter live music in the schools during Festival week. These programs capture the spirit of the Festival, blurring the lines between artist and audience, professional and amateur.
