San Clemente Real Estate Market Trends - December 2014

In December, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in San Clemente, CA was 10% higher than the previous month and 16% higher than the same time last year, according to RealtyTrac.com.

San Clemente CA Foreclosure Trends

In December 2014, Pre-foreclosure activity increased 33.3% from the previous month and 200.0% from the previous year. Auctions decreased 25.0% from the previous month and 25.0% from the previous year. Bank-owned properties increased 33.3% from the previous month and dropped 42.9% from the previous year.

San Clemente CA Foreclosure Status

Pre-foreclosures accounted for 54.5% of foreclosure activity in December 2014, Auctions were 27.3% and Bank-owned properties were 18.2%.

California real estate ended the year with mixed results as home sales inched up for the first time in a year and a half. Single family sale prices increased from 364K in Dec 2013 to 366K in Dec 2014. The median price increased form $439,000 in Dec 2013 to $452,000 in Dec 2014.
