In December, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in San Clemente, CA was 21% lower than the previous month and 58% lower than the same time last year, according to RealtyTrac.com.

Auctions decreased 33.3% from the previous month and dropped 68.0% from the previous year. Bank-owned properties increased 133.3% from the previous month and were down 0.0% from the previous year.
