Without a doubt one of the best ways to enjoy living in the city San Clemente is to find a home in its heart in Central San Clemente, or otherwise known as downtown San Clemente. This area of San Clemente real estate is the most historically rich of San Clemente. The homes you find here are both beautiful and simple at the same time, and almost all fit into the Mediterranean or Spanish theme that earned San Clemente it's moniker of The Little Spanish Village by the Sea. The homes are beautiful, the people are friendly and the area itself is breathtaking.

One of the nice things about living in Central San Clemente is that you will have quite a few different types of properties to choose from. For example, for those on a slightly tighter budget you may…

Located in the central area of San Clemente, the Coast District is one of the most conveniently located subdivisions in the Little Spanish Village by the Sea. Not only will you enjoy a lush landscape of rolling hills, beautiful ocean views and a slightly elevated position over the rest of the city, but you'll also enjoy reasonable home prices and friendly people, too. Most of the houses in the Coast District are single-family homes with one or two stories, occasionally including a basement as well. Most of the homes are in the the $600k to $1m price range, with a few outliers in either direction. There are definitely homes available under $600K, but they are generally in high demand and thus will be sold fairly quickly – You'll have to check the listings…

This historic San Clemente landmark is one of the best places to get a spectacular ocean view in all of San Clemente. The 1000+ foot San Clemente pier is a breathtaking trek out into what feels like the middle of the ocean. Probably not quite safe on a rainy or stormy day; in strong weather you can feel the pier shaking beneath the weight of heavy water currents. Of course, the dare devils out there will see nothing but an exhilarating opportunity, but don't say you haven't been warned.

Part of the original village created by San Clemente's founder, Ole Hanson, the San Clemente Pier is older than any current resident, and has been an iconic part of San Clemente tourism literally since people set foot in the Little Spanish Village by the Sea. This…
