1 in every 302 housing units received a foreclosure filing in Deceember.

Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo and the Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of Orange County and the Inland Empire have teamed up again to help grant wishes for kids living with life-threatening medical conditions. Now through the end of January, local high school members of Make-A-Wish clubs are volunteering each Saturday at Kaleidoscope’s Ice-less Skating Rink to raise money for their club to benefit the Foundation through an interactive donation table and a percentage of ice-skating ticket sales.

California home sales rose for the third consecutive month in December, marking the highest level since January 2011, according to data from the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.).  Sales also were up from a year ago, marking the sixth consecutive annual increase.
