154 Pearl Street, Laguna Beach's oldest remaining home, has been sold to Tresor Properties for $3.8 million.

Pearl Cottage was built over one hundred years ago with driftwood from boats and shipwrecks. It is Tresor’s intention to preserve the cottage for another one hundred years. Tresor is working closely with the Laguna Beach Heritage Committee to maintain the home’s historic ranking.

The cottage sits on a 5,000 square foot lot, which will be subdivided to allow for construction of a modern contemporary home behind Pearl Cottage. This new construction home will have unobstructed ocean views.

Tresor Properties has also acquired the William Wendt house. Home to the landscape impressionist painter William Wendt and built in 1913. Tresor plans a restoration of the Wendt house similar to Pearl cottage.

Laguna Beach is a thriving small city, and home to one of California's most luxurious secluded beaches. For decades this little corner of the Pacific has attracted droves of artists, filmmakers and surfers looking to experience the best of oceanside California. Located near the southern edge of populous Orange County, Laguna Beach offers a unique arts-oriented culture and lifestyle within easy reach of busy urban centers like Anaheim and Orange.
