trulia house of horrors

In honor of Halloween and all things that go bump in the night, Trulia.com polled 2,005 U.S. adults to find out how men and women react differently to some very eerie home hauntings.

As it turns out, 59% of women are deterred from buying a perfect home if it was the site of a former crime scene compared to 47% of men. But men and women are equally undeterred by the possibility of their home being haunted by a possessed doll: 27% of women and 28% of men.

Both men and women would (45% of women and 36% of men) prefer living with Casper the ghost rather than having a leprechaun as a roommate (21% of women and 24% of men).

More men than women think it is OK to live near a cemetery (61% vs 50%) while more men would be willing to pay for an Exorcism

knotts scary farm

Time is running out for the family to enjoy Fall and Halloween activities in Orange County. If you haven't been yet this year, you don't want to miss the Knott's Scary Farm or the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch.

This is the 43rd year for the Knott's Scary Farm and is the largest and scariest Halloween experience in Southern California. You can navigate through three new mazes. The Paranormal Inc allows visitors to investigate a haunted hospital where the patients were tortured for decades by deranged doctors and nurses. The Bloody Clementine is a frightful ride through the Calico Mine where Clementine and her father were brutally murdered centuries ago. And the Dead Of Winter offers an escape from the Snow Queen and her army of Viking Warriors.
